This policy explains how Refine Lifestyles collects and uses your personal information when you visit cosmeticsurgerykent.co.uk or send us an enquiry. We take your privacy seriously, particularly as an enquiry about cosmetic surgery can include information about your health.

Refine Lifestyles Limited is the controller of the personal information described in this policy, which means we decide how and why it is used. We are a private limited company registered in England and Wales (company number 17157563), with our registered office at 1 Bligh's Road, Sevenoaks, Kent TN13 1DA.

What we collect
When you send an enquiry
- Your first and last name, email address and phone number.
- The procedure you're interested in and how you'd prefer to be contacted.
- Anything you choose to tell us in your message, which may include information about your health.
- Your confirmation that you are 18 or over, and your agreement to us using your details to respond.
- The page you sent the enquiry from.
When you visit the website
- Your IP address, which our spam protection uses to limit how many enquiries can be sent in a short time. For this, it's stored only in a scrambled (hashed) form that can't be turned back into your address.
- Standard technical information that web servers record, such as your browser type and the pages you request.
- Your cookie choices (see Cookies below).
How and why we use your information

You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing info@refinelifestyles.com. This won't affect anything we did with your information before you withdrew it.
Who we share it with
We never sell your information. We only share it with service providers who help us run the website and handle enquiries, and only as much as they need:
- SMTP2GO, which delivers enquiry emails from the website to our mailbox.
- Our website hosting provider, which stores the website and its security logs.
Some of these providers may process information outside the UK. Where they do, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as UK adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement. We may also share information if the law requires us to.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries: only as long as we need to respond and follow up, and no longer than 12 months if you don't go on to become a patient.
- Spam protection records: submissions blocked as spam are logged for 30 days, then deleted automatically.
- Rate-limit records: the scrambled form of your IP address is deleted automatically after 24 hours.
- Email delivery records: a record of whether each enquiry was sent (without its contents) is kept for 30 days.
- Your cookie choices: 6 months, after which we'll ask again.
Keeping it secure
The website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Enquiries aren't stored on the website: they're delivered straight to a single mailbox, info@refinelifestyles.com, and used only to respond to you.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct information that's wrong or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your information;
- ask us to restrict or stop using your information, or object to how we use it;
- ask for your information in a portable format;
- withdraw your consent at any time.
To use any of these rights, email info@refinelifestyles.com. We'll respond within one month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We'd appreciate the chance to put things right first.
Age
Our consultations are only for adults aged 18 and over, and our website isn't intended for anyone younger. If you're under 18, please don't send us an enquiry.
Cookies
Cookies are small files that a website stores on your device. We use one essential cookie to remember your cookie choices. We'll only use analytics or marketing cookies if you accept them, and you can change your mind at any time.

Our fonts are hosted on our own website, so no third-party font service receives your information when you visit.
